Jeffrey is a Modern, Contemporary, Abstract artist that currently resides in Upstate New York , he draws his inspiration from tapping his imagination and the world around him. He is a self taught artist that relies on his creativity and spontaneous process of applying and removing paint. His work is largely achieved through constant experimentation and diversified techniques. Jeffrey enjoys painting in many different styles, but abstract is what he is drawn to, each painting is a journey for him, evolving in it's own progression. He is constantly critiquing his work. Finding that stopping point and calling a piece done is the most difficult, he always thinks "it could be better". He has probably painted over many great pieces because of this. Jeffrey believes art should be uplifting and evoke emotion, art should stop you in your tracks and demand your attention, otherwise why have it on the wall. His favorite quote is by Jackson Pollock, "Abstraction is nothing but abstract, it confronts you!" He strives for each painting to have that certain quality to it that says "Hey you, stop and check me out". It is his hope and desire that his artwork will speak for itself.
